(Re)learning to Read, Update
So, my attempt to become (re)literate went swimmingly. “The Blind Assassin” turned out to be the perfect way to jump back in — a well-paced, engrossing story and nothing more. I had forgotten how lovely it is to tuck into bed with a great book; certainly a more satisfying way to fall asleep than with the ambient noise of a crappy movie in the background (sorry BFG!).

A really great article. The last couple of paragraphs are especially poignant: a lot to say about passion, introspection, and what’s wrong with the way our current educational system molds our minds (and actions).
